Farm Stores Officer

Role Summary

The Farm Stores Officer is responsible for the efficient management, control, and accountability of all farm inventories, including agricultural inputs, irrigation materials, engineering spares, fuel and lubricants, tools, personal protective equipment (PPE), chemicals, fertilizers, harvested materials, and general consumables. The role ensures accurate stock management, timely issuance of materials, proper storage practices, inventory optimization, and compliance with Company policies, financial controls, and health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements to support uninterrupted farm operations.

The Surveyor will maintain reliable site control, translate approved drawings into accurate ground positions, check contractor work, prepare clear survey records, and support progress measurement in demanding field conditions.

The Bulk Water and Irrigation Engineer will lead the engineering supervision, contractor coordination, quality control, testing, and commissioning of the bulk water infrastructure while managing the operation, maintenance, and progressive expansion of centre-pivot irrigation for a commercial sugarcane plantation. This hands-on role ensures water is efficiently abstracted, pumped, filtered, conveyed, and delivered to centre-pivot blocks at the required flow and pressure. The Engineer is responsible for translating engineering designs into reliable field infrastructure, preparing irrigation schedules based on crop needs, diagnosing system faults, and supervising field teams and subcontractors in a remote environment.

Agricultural and Land Development Engineer
